About the Heart Chakra
Function: Love, compassion, connection, grief.
The heart chakra connects the material and spiritual. It is where love lives — not only romantic, but love of self, love of life, love of the strangers on the street. Blocked heart looks like bitterness, cynicism, or the mask of invulnerability. Its crystals are the greens and pinks: rose quartz above all, with rhodochrosite, rhodonite, green aventurine, prehnite.
