About Rhodochrosite
Rhodochrosite is manganese carbonate — banded pink and white, sometimes with a red rose printed in the centre of each slice. Mined primarily in Argentina (where it is the national crystal) and the United States. Its gift is inner-child healing: the love you should have received as a small being, returned to you now.
The Inca called it 'Inca rose' and believed it was the blood of their ancestors turned to crystal. Modern therapists use it in trauma and attachment work.

Common fakes: Dyed glass, plastic, or less valuable stones passed off as the real thing.
How to tell the real thing: Real crystals are heavier than glass or plastic of the same size, stay cool to the touch, and usually show natural inclusions or colour zoning — too-uniform colour is a warning sign. Buy from trusted sources and ask the seller about origin and treatment.
