About Fluorite
Fluorite is calcium fluoride — the crystal that gives us the word 'fluorescent' (many specimens glow under UV light). It crystallises in perfect cubes and octahedrons, a geometry that mirrors its energetic gift: clarity of structure. Purple fluorite for focus, green for healing, clear for truth.
Ancient Egyptians carved scarabs from it. Chinese carvers used it for thousand-year-old ornaments. Modern students place it on the desk during exam weeks.

How to Identify a Real Fluorite
Common fakes: Dyed glass, dyed calcite.
How to tell the real thing: Real fluorite glows under UV light (ultraviolet) — that is where the word ‘fluorescent’ comes from. It has natural colour zoning (bands of purple, green, clear within a single piece). It’s softer than quartz — a steel pin will scratch it — but much harder than glass.
