About the Throat Chakra

The throat chakra governs the movement between inner knowing and outer speech. When blocked, you either do not speak your truth, or you speak it with such harshness that it cannot be heard. Its crystals are the blues: lapis lazuli, blue turquoise, sodalite, chrysocolla. They are the crystals of teachers, writers, singers, and anyone whose work depends on words landing cleanly.

Practice
Sit upright. Place a lapis lazuli or blue turquoise at the collarbones. Hum one long note for two minutes. Feel the throat vibrate. This is the simplest practice for this chakra and among the most effective.
