About Labradorite
Labradorite is a feldspar that seems grey until light hits it at the right angle — and then it flashes blue, gold, green, violet. This optical effect is called labradorescence, caused by microscopic twin crystals scattering light. Its energetic gift mirrors its optical one: the magic is hidden until you shift your angle.
Named after Labrador, Canada, though also found in Madagascar and Finland. Inuit legend says the Northern Lights were once trapped in the crystals along the Labrador coast.

How to Identify a Real Labradorite
Common fakes: Rarely faked — the iridescent flash is nearly impossible to reproduce.
How to tell the real thing: Turn the stone slowly in light: real labradorite shows labradorescence — a metallic-blue, gold, or green flash on certain angles, absent on others. If the flash is visible from every angle, it’s glass or resin.
