About Amazonite
Amazonite is a soft teal-to-turquoise variety of microcline feldspar. Named after the Amazon river (though the Brazilian mines are elsewhere), it carries the visual memory of shallow, clear tropical water. Its gift is loving refusal — the boundary-keeper’s crystal.
Found in Egyptian tombs including Tutankhamun’s. Worn by Amazonian warriors in pre-Columbian South America. A crystal of feminine authority — the quiet no that protects without violence.
