About Red Carnelian
Red carnelian is the deeper, blood-red sister of classic orange carnelian — still chalcedony, still iron-colored, but carrying more earth-fire. Found in India and Brazil, it is the crystal for when the body’s inner flame has gone out entirely.
Indian and Egyptian traditions used red carnelian specifically for post-illness recovery and for women after childbirth — moments when vitality is depleted and must be carefully rebuilt.
